Motor insurance fraud in Singapore Pt 2

For years the insurance companies  have been whining about how many millions they lose as a result of insurance fraud but so far their attempts to solve the problem have been ineffective.

It’s time the Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE), the police,

Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) and the insurance companies

get together to rid Singapore of motor insurance fraud which affects every single motorist in the form of higher premiums.

Given the political will and determination I have every confidence in their ability to tackle the issue and resolve it.

It’s time all this nonsense stops. If in the face of such blatant malpractice, the government, CASE and the insurance companies still continue to take only half-hearted measures, there will be no end to the plight of motorists coughing up more money to pay for ever increasing motor insurance premiums.
