Singapore Traffic Police – time for crackdown, enough is enough.

Over the years the Singapore Traffic Police presence has practically disappeared from our roads and expresswways. This has emboldened drivers into driving rudely, dangerously and recklessly. As a result, many people have been killed or seriously injured.

And now drivers are racing each other along the premier shopping belt in Orchard Road, playing a cat and mouse game with the Traffic Police. “Catch me if you can” seems to the war cry of these speedster.

This is a slap in the face of the Traffic Police. Enough is enough. Traffic Police should adopt a zero tolerance attitude towards all dangerous and reckless drivers and speedsters who have zero regard for other road users.
