Singapore Traffic Police – where in the world are they?

Today’s Sunday Times highlights how dangerous Loyang Ave is with its many accidents ( Straight road to accident hot spot)

The Police (SPF) does not police our housing estates; neither does the Traffic Police our roads and expressways. Both are significantly absent.

Wth the Traffic Police’s absence drivers are emboldened to modify their cars illegally, organise races along Orchard Road, drink drive and drive dangerously and recklessly.

Any complaint is met with the usual TP response: it is also the responsibility of motorists to make roads safer.

TP is paid to enforce the law, and to protect lives.

When will TP realise that this is its responsibility? When will it wake up?
