Competition Commission of Singapore: dare to take on the big guns?

When the Competition Commision of Singapore (CCS) decided to take action against SISTIC, I had no doubt about the outcome.

No doubt chagrined at the $$989, 000 fine, SISTIC is appealing with big legal artillery.

I applauded when CCS gunned down the coach companies for price-fixing.

But will CCS investigate big guns like Mediacorp for any anti-competitive practices?

If it dares to then its credibility will be further enhanced.

Meanwhile, kudos to CCS for reining in SISTIC.
