Downtown East murder: throwing away your life?

Youth can be a time for idealism and a sense of strength.

Unfortunately, it can also be a time of folly and rebelliousness.

There’s so much to enjoy in your youth: family, the camaraderie of good friends, new hobbies and skills, adventure, learning, travel etc

So it’s sad to see youths who need to join gangs with a culture of violence to get a sense of belonging and fulfillment.

How long can you live? At the most to an average of 70 plus years.

If you are thrown behind bars for a criminal offence you are in effect throwing away your precious life.

Worse, if you are hanged for murder.

It is not only you who have to suffer but also family and friends.

A gang can give you a sense of power but your life can suddenly go out of control.

If you have a death wish, be a soldier. At least, you can die with honor.

But if you wish to be happy, build up a good relationship with family and friends not gangs.
