Caltex lowers petrol, diesel prices: well done!

It’s good of Caltex to lower its petrol and diesel prices one day after increasing them.

In the face of volatility in world oil prices, oil companies may need to increase petrol and diesel prices from time to time.

But when world oil prices fall, they should also lower prices just as speedily. With modern machines, everything can be calibrated at the touch of a button.

Failure to adjust prices downwards will lead to charges of profiteering.

And don’t think we motorists are that stupid. We do take note of irresponsible oil companies, and will boycott their petrol stations.

Why pay more?
