Protest against 6.9 million: Protest at Hong Lim Park Part 4

I haven’t heard the National Anthem sung with such poignancy till today.

For three solid hours they stood, undeterred by the rain.

The crowd was so well-behaved that it gives the lie to the regime’s fears that public demonstrations would cause chaos and security issues.

This is just a lame excuse. This prohibition is consistent with the core value of repression of the ruling regime.

Well done Singaporeans!

The regime is in perpetual self-denial, helped in large measure by its vast army of yes men.
Some of the many banners on display.
On the overhead bridge: they too don’t want to miss out

They want to be counted.
